Teaching Experience

I currently work as a P/T lecturer with Argyll College, running ceramic and drawing + painting Classes. My previous experience includes, working for 6 years as a P/T lecturer teaching on the Design and Contemporary Textiles College in Shetland and as a guest lecturer to Glasgow Schools of Art Painting Department.

Public Art Projects

I have been commissioned to make tiles and mosaics for several large public projects most notably a 45m community wall mosaic for North Queensferry Railway Station; painted glazed tiles for two renovated jute mills in Dundee by Hillcrest Housing Association; large scale marine shapes in painted glazed tiles and glass mosaic for Rutherglen Swimming Pool by Glasgow City Council; glazed tile panels for renovated flats in East Kilbride by East Kilbride District Council. In addition to this I have worked with children in several schools on community based art projects in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Shetland and Argyll.
